Dan Mills is an exceptional photographer. For more than a decade, Dan’s work has been the visual bedrock for nearly all of our winery brands. Having lived and worked for most of my life in the Napa Valley, designing wine labels and wine & food print, I remember the first time I noticed the magical garden—like a stage set—right off Highway 29. Within weeks my client suggested that we start shooting there with Dan Mills, a new photographer in town. From the first simple shots, a powerful collaboration was born as we designed and produced a signature look that would showcase our mutual client for 20 years. Creative, precise, and up for anything, Dan became my go-to photographer, and I feel I did my best work with him on set. 

Dan has made another magical garden at his new, historic location in Petaluma, and filled his hip new studio with equal parts creature comforts and up-to-the-nanosecond technology.
